Mitron Hockey Curriculum Set
The
mastery of hockey skills and systems is a long term process entailing
various phases of learning according to the age and proficiency of
the hockey player. This learning process is made possible through
our Mitron Hockey Curriculum Set. We understand the challenge
that volunteer coaches face while attempting to prepare weekly practices
that deliver the right skills, in the right sequence.
Each Mitron Hockey Curriculum Set consists of a Training Diary,
Hockey Development Manual, Practice & Drill Manual,
Half-Ice Drill Manual and User Tutorial for your level. The advantage
in using this system lies in the Training Diary which combines the
appropriate theory, and on-ice drills into weekly practice plans for
the entire season! The Hockey Development Manuals consist of core-curriculums
which contain an inventory of skills that are needed for various age
levels and the Practice and Drill Manuals provide the ice drills needed
to put the theory into practice. In addition, each set includes a
User's Tutorial which explains how to use your Curriculum Set
effectively, and a 1/2 Ice Drill Manual- providing 30 additional
1/2 ice drills to supplement your Hockey Practice & Drill Manual.
In all, each Curriculum Set consists of 5 Manuals
Curriculum Sets are available for: Novice, Atom,
Peewee, Bantam, Midget
(Tyke is one Manual)
Curriculum Sets are available for both House league
and Competitive levels.
