World-Class Development System
The Mitron High Performance Hockey Development System emphasizes the development of skills and athleticism for hockey players through our innovative Hockey Curriculum Sets. These Curriculum Sets were designed to provide Associations and Coaches with consistent programming from TYKE through MIDGET Levels, year after year. Each head coach receives the 'core curriculum' for his current level - thereby ensuring proper player development. To learn more, click on the 'Hockey Curriculum Set button on the navigational bar. This system also focuses on the professional development of coaches. Coaches using our system develop creative practices which are designed to meet or exceed game speed and conditions. They practice High Tempo skill development, and as a result, their players love to practice and play because they have fun while perfecting skills.
We want to see a more skillful game for the future of hockey, and are genuinely interested in the development of players. Our objective is to ensure that coaches become knowledgeable and skilled in coaching methodology, sport science, and the ability to apply and impart this knowledge.
